About Us
Hometown Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1990 by Paul J. Yatso, D.V.M. Dr. Yatso returned to Oconto Falls, the town where he was raised, after receiving his doctorate from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Hometown began as a mobile bovine and companion animal practice until our current facility was built in 2005.
Dr. Yatso and his wife, Gail, are active members of our community. Currently, and throughout our history, Hometown Veterinary Clinic has contributed to many things in our community, including: financial and professional support of the Oconto Area Humane Society; educating the youth of the community through school tours, job shadowing, and contributions to area FFA clubs; providing discounted rabies vaccinations to encourage public safety; hosting fundraising events; contributing to area festivals and the Oconto County Fair; being active members of the Oconto Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.
